Beskrivning

Aim:
1. Study how 100 mM sodium caprylate (C8) and 100 mM sodium caprate (C10) interact, respectively, with the peptide octreotide and how the respective formulation interacts with the model membrane.
2. Same as above but with the oral peptide semaglutide instead.
3. Starting randomly, and starting incorporated into one of the leaflets, respectively.
4. If time, to study octreotide, sodium caprylate and other components in a lipid base formulation as similar as possible to Mycapssa®

To study the effects and influence on a model POPC membrane.
- To study insertion, expulsion and potential flipflop events,
- water permeation,
- membrane structural properties such as area per lipid, membrane thickness, and lateral diffusion,
- order parameter
- aggregate formation
- insertion depth, if any
