The effect of a high fat diet on gene expression in different tissues

What we eat can affect the nervous system and various organs in the body. A high-fat diet has been shown to affect different neurotransmitters and receptors, such as the oxytocin receptor, which is expressed both in the brain and in peripheral tissues. In this project, the aim is to investigate the effect of a high-fat diet (chocolate balls and cheese doodles) on gene expression in peripheral tissues such as adipose tissue.
